A kit bike from the '60s. If I remember correctly they sold as a kit (self assembly) to avoid paying purchase tax which applied to luxury items. This had a mainly square tubed frame and originally would have had leading link forks. This one had been fitted with Roadholder forks from a Norton. I think the engine was a Villiers 9E. It was rather heavy.

This building should of been listed, instead the developers managed to pull it down....
One of the finest guitar players I have ever heard. Rhett Butler (yes, that his real name!) puts all of his talent and emotion into his music. If you ever have the chance to see him in concert, don't miss it, you won't be disappointed. You can find out more about Rhett at www.rhettbutler.org/music.html
Thank you Rhett Butler for allowing me to post this image on Flickr

Famous rice Plantation of the 19th century, owned by Pierce Butler of Philadelphia. A system of dikes and canals for the cultivation of rice, inspired by the canals in Holland and installed by enslaved laborers, is still in evidence in the old fields, and has been used as a pattern for similar operations in recent years. During a visit here with her husband in 1838-39, Pierce Butler`s wife, the brilliant English actress, Fanny Kemble, wrote her “Journal of a Residence On A Georgia Plantation,” which is said to have influenced England against the Confederacy.
