Canal reflections and busy towpath on the Calder & Hebble Navigation at Brookfoot, Brighouse in West Yorkshire
Hello everyone,
Macro Mondays is a weekly theme-based challenge group. This week's challenge is called "Pick Two."
Five subjects were in list one and five descriptors were in list two. We had to choose one thing from each list and the macro had to illustrate the combination of the two words. My choices were "Insect" and "Striped."
Incidentally, this was the first time I've found this particular wildflower which is called Two-grooved Milk-Vetch. It was crazy-busy with bees. Definitely a good find!
Happy Macro Mondays! HMM!

... nach einiger Zeit in der Natur entdeckt man immer mehr Motive und überall summt und zwitschert es ....an den elektonischen Sucher muss ich mich noch gewöhnen.
Like most of Galapagos, Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat) is volcanic in origin. The exploration path starts with a gorgeous beach, bright red Sally Lightfoot crabs and marine iguanas. The path goes past a colony of endemic Galapagos sea lions before passing a lava field: look for the lava cactus growing in the cracks. On the beach, keep your eyes open for the American Oystercatcher, a wading bird with a distinctive orange beak. On the trail, you may see lava lizards.
