Here is another image I discovered on GOOGLE Maps that I had to visit in person. This is the Kar Parts Recycling Center located right off of Hwy 11, near Inman, South Carolina. They had a lot more cars and trucks in the back of the property which was well worth photographing. I did manage to get a few shots while I was there.

The small, gray building in front of the excavator was my Curious Buildings subject back in September 2020, when, ominously, a commenter predicted this building's short future. Now, one week after I took this photo, the gray building is a pile of rubble, and the blue one will follow in the next few days. Curiously, someone painted over the gray building's barely legible Autosports sign before laying waste to the structure.

Sign posted above the door of a local dance school located in the back of an outdoor shopping center.

ON November 2, 2019, I visited Tarpon Springs which is a town in Pinellas County, Florida where Greek Sponge Divers chose to establish as a Sponge Harvesting Port. The Greek Sponge Divers are known for their use of Pressurized Whole Body Suits with Metal Helmets while they walk along the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico collecting Sponges. Their Air Supply is supplied by an Air Compressor aboard their boat. The Sponges are later processed for Sale to Stores and Consumers.

Alternate Route 19 (aka: Pinellas Avenue) runs North/South through Downtown Tarpon Springs, which is a popular Tourist Destination and the Sponge Docks, themselves are located on both banks of the Anclote River, which Flows Westward into the Gulf of Mexico. Dodecanese Boulevard parallels the Anclote River's, South Bank in the the Tourist Area.

Tarpon Springs is also noted for the Greek Orthodox Church, which has a Cathedral, a Community Center and several other venues along Alternate Route 19. There are numerous Photographic opportunities all along Alternate Route 19 in Downtown Tarpon Springs.

This particular Photograph shows a view at the corner of Cypress Street and South Pinellas Avenue in Downtown Tarpon Springs FL. Most notable here is the building in the center of my Photograph, which is apparently a Union Headquarters for United States Postal Employees. The sign on the side of the building lists it as the National Association of Letter Carriers.

In downtown Nogales, Arizona, on October 5th, 2015, on the east side of North Morley Avenue, opposite West Park Street.

The building was erected in 1955 according to the website of the Santa Cruz County Auditor. The store closed in 2017 and the sign was replaced sometime after April 2018.

The station recently moved to a small strip center on Delk. There are probably 20 to 25 thousand Brazilians in Cobb County. The last census, in 2020, had a somewhat lower number, but I think many were being cautious about revealing their stat us to census takers.

Brownsville is a borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States, founded in 1785 and located 35 miles (56 km) south of Pittsburgh along the Monongahela River. In the 19th century, the borough became an industrial center, transportation hub, outfitting center, and river boat-building powerhouse. It was a gateway city for emigrants heading west to the Ohio Country, Northwest Territory and beyond on the various Emigrant Trails to the far west from its founding until well into the 1850s.

I think the sign was originally intended to be viewed from farther away than this?

I had never been inside an adult video arcade, and based on what I had read on Wikipedia about the activities that take place inside, I decided I wouldn't go into this one, either!

This is where our Poodle, Ritzy, is getting a haircut this morning. It’s not too far from our place, not even a ten minute drive. I used Snap-seed to do a fair amount of perspective correction and general fixing.

A popular food cart in Portland is the Taco Pedaler - popular enough that they decided to open a brick and mortar store, called naturally enough, Taco Pedaler Brick and Mortar.

Bell Bottoms was a longtime bar and grill located near my home. Unfortunately, the last time I went by it, I found that the place has closed due to non-payment of rent and back taxes.
