This Bush Champion cucumber plant has been blooming continuously for a week now. I haven't seen any fruit (yet), but the plant is reaching for the sky at an incredible rate.
The rose bushes have gone nuts this summer. The two to the right were bought and planted over three years ago. The short one I ran over with the lawn mower right after I planted it. It is stubby and thick and has sent up some canes, but they are short. The one in the middle has a cane well over 7' tall and it has sent out several others as well. I'm not quite sure how to tame them. I'd like them to grow into the fence behind and use it as a trellis, but they all seem to want to lean forward. The bush on the left was planted this spring and it has a cane over 6', plus more. How do you tame them? Is it a bad idea to weave them into a fence?
November 15, 2017 - During my lunch break today, I saw this huge prolific white rose bush in a full superbloom next to Subway Restaurant in Fountain Valley, CA! It was an amazing sight, especially considering that it is November and in the middle of the Fall Season!
