Flying creatures have finally entered our big butterfly bush into their internal GPS. Yesterday when I arrived home, it was a feeding station for the year's first Monarch plus a Tiger Swallowtail, a Red Admirral and a female hummer.

Brisbane CBD.
Students from High Schools across Brisbane gathered in town today for a protest against the Iraq War, Inaction dealing with Global Warming and to decry President George W. Bush as a Terrorist and unwanted in Australia.
President Bush is currently in Sydney attending the APEC 2007 Summit.

Second planting of bush beans are growing. Birds got the first sprouts. I covered this batch with chicken wire.
These rose pods were all over this rose bush. At first they looked like little apples or cherries, but I don't think I would want to munch on them.
This African Bush Elephant, Loxodonta africana, was photographed in Kenya, as part of a research project utilizing motion-activated camera-traps.
