De Kaay, Nijmegen. This bus is part of a recreationsite under the Waalbridge with music, theater, food and drinks! From July till September!
At long last. After years of waiting, Transport for Ireland has finally started to renew bus stop poles and flags in Limerick. Works started on Monday, 26th July 2021 on portions of Routes 301, 302 and 303 and this apparatus at Brookville Avenue (Stop 606931) was installed on Tuesday, 10th August 2021. The carousel displays stop-specific information and a route schematic. Based on experience elsewhere in the city, this new infrastructure will hopefully survive unscathed.
In the distance, VWD427 approaches on Route 302!

12 buses leave from this stop per day, Monday to Friday, with 7 on Saturday, and none on a Sunday. Services appear to be operated by Celtic Travel, Llanidloes.
Technology is such that sensors on bus seats can advise bus drivers which seats are free / occupied (via a diagram) and the information can even be passed to the next bus stops so that waiting passengers will know how full a bus is before it has even arrived!
This image is being published as CC0 - anyone can use it without even asking!
What I do not know however is whether the technology has been designed to tell waiting passengers whether the seats are close to each other - or spread around the bus. it will make a difference to groups of waiting passengers, but not to lone passengers.
