Freshly wrapped for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee BCE47070 (ER70LXX) pulls into Cromwell Bus Station in Kingston-Upon-Thames on Route 65 towards Kingston, Brook Street.
Auf der Linie 708 werden an Schultagen oft Langeisen eingesetzt, um die ganzen Schüler platzgerecht nach Hause zu bringen. In Biederitz erwischte ich dabei einen der zwei Setra-Dreiachser auf dem Weg in Richtung Gommern. Hier gerade am Ortsausgang, wo die Straße entlang des Hochwasserschutzdeiches verläuft.

Der ehemalige Braunschweiger Gelenklöwe 0302 befindet sich nun seit einem Jahr im Fuhrpark des Hannoveraner Busunternehmens - zwischenzeitlich legte er noch einen Stopp bei Schiwy aus Hattingen ein. Hier ist er gerade als Schienenersatzverkehr zwischen Salzgitter-Lebenstedt und Braunschweig unterwegs und verlässt die Wendeschleife am Thieder Bahnhof. Interessant wäre außerdem noch, dass vor drei Jahren hier das letzte mal ein Linienbus entlang fuhr.

J2222 canibalised for parts sitting at Johnstone depot awaiting disposal. Served McGills for a long time but its time came to an end as one of the oldest eclipses left in service as 2006 reg withdrawn in 2021 due to arrival of Yutongs and cascading of younger Mercedes C2 onto their services.

Die neusten Fahrzeuge der MVB halten nun langsam Einzug in den Fahrbetrieb. Der nummerisch erste Wagen der Lieferserie, die im September diesen Jahres bei den Verkehrsbetrieben eintraf, ist auf der Linie 56 unterwegs. Der Hybridbus mit Nummer 3326 überquert gerade den Jerichower Platz und wird nun seine recht lange Fahrt bis nach Randau antreten.

Seit nun knapp drei Monaten sind die neuen Elektrobusse der KVG auf drei Betriebshöfen unterwegs. Wolfenbüttel erhielt dabei die derzeit meisten Fahrzeuge des niederländischen Herstellers, welche gleichzeitig auch das frische stadtbus-Design erhielten. Gerade auf dem Weg als morgendlicher Schulbus bei Adersheim ist 2209, der als Linie 607 die Schüler zur Wilhelm-Raabe-Schule bringt.
0905 der KVG ist einer der vier Gelenkzüge, die im Jahr 2009 vom Unternehmen neu beschafft wurden. Derzeit sind drei der 320 PS starken Wagen in Wolfenbüttel stationiert und bedienen meist Schulfahrten. Hier einen Kurs der 607 nach Klein Flöthe, beginnend an der Breiten Herzogstraße.
