A few words about the bus:

I know the rear end design is not good at all. Seems to be the crossbreed between the top of air-con Olympians and the lower bit of Volvo Citybuses. The style of the emergency exits just do not match with rubber gasket windows.

I tried to accommodate the air conditioning unit of the bus to the space below the floor on the rear overhang, as I figured the equipment for a double deck bus must occupy more space compared to conventional B10Ms with underfloor air conditioning.

The bus was destroyed in a fire at Kennedy Town Bus Terminus in 1988. Its chassis was returned to Britain but the proposal to rebody it into a coach was scrapped.

This is an imaginary bus based on the Leyland National. I wish to see the styling elements on the National to be retained by its successor, thus produced this concept vehicle in the body style of the Leyland Royal Tiger Doyen with the basic structure of the bus resembling the National.
