The owner of this 60 Series has had the truck for over 13 years and it gets plenty of use on the beach and 4Wding in the Glasshouse Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. There have been some recurring ignition and fuel problems so the truck came in to us for a diagnostic.It wasn't long before we had identified the carburetor as the main culprit so we put a full rebuild kit through it and clean up the fuel lines and the ignition lines. As you can see from the video this truck is now purring as well as Mr Cat who made a guest appearance. 1980 BJ42 one hell of a custom 4X4. So much factory fruit (power steer, air con, 5 speed) however it's come a long way in 40 years. From exterior Raptor lining, custom pop open windows, lifted suspension and an interior that bring it into the modern world without loosing it's 40 Series Landcruiser appeal.
