It is definitely up there in the top 10 most photographed pubs in Ireland, it's main claim to fame was in the hit RTE television series called Ballykissangel.

They razed a building next to an old hotel in the City (San Francisco) on Washington street and it gives a view of an old add, for Bull Durham tobacco. I'm guessing, but I think that advertisement is from the 1940's( This is no longer visible from the street. San Francisco City College has built a building on the lot. 6/16/ 2011 update).
