Bradford Odeon, Town Hall and Alhambra, backlit by low early morning sunlight. Bradford Odeon opened in 1930, in the 1960s it doubled as a music venue, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones both played at the Odeon. Following its closure in 2000, Bradford Council and interested developers favoured demolition of the building. The Bradford Odeon Rescue Group was formed in 2002, to prevent this. In 2012 an agreement to build a hotel on the site was scrapped. The Oden was wrapped in scaffolding and sheeting in the spring of 2012 to allow roof repairs. www.bradfordodeonrescuegroup.co.uk
