History: Built in 1904 , this grand building has been the headquarters of the Security Mutual Life Company for over 100 years....Marble Lobby.
Harpa is a renowned concert hall and conference center located in Reykjavik, Iceland. Its striking design is highlighted by a unique facade of colorful glass, which draws inspiration from the natural basalt rock formations found throughout the Icelandic landscape. Is it done already? Kinda long week so far! Really hopping for another good weekend. This shot is from our last visit to Milwaukee. For a town that is not that big it never stops surprising. Rich history and art deco architecture is really exciting. Found a few new very eclectic spot this time as well. What do you think?
The famous architect is known for designing and building his architecture in organic shapes. I really understood more of his art when developing the photos, shame on me ;-)

Canons Ashby House had been the home of the Dryden family since its construction in the 16th century; the manor house was built in approximately 1550 with additions in the 1590s, in the 1630s and 1710.

The Priory was founded on a site to the south of the present church between 1147 and 1151 in the reign of Henry II. Part of the building survives: the Church of England parish church of St Mary dates from about 1250 and this, together with Canons Ashby House, is now owned by the National Trust.
