About Jack Sanders Butch Anthony
Sanders is founder of Design Build Adventure, a full-service design, build, and adventure company, His work explores the intersection of design and place, drawing from the interrelationships between people, material, climate, music, food, and art specific to each project’s region. Sanders has been involved in several large scale art installations, and has been a visiting lecturer and studio instructor at Auburn University’s Rural Studio, Mississippi State University, and the University of Texas at Austin.
Anthony is a multimedia artist living and working in Seale, Alabama who collects societal cast-offs and trash and uses them as materials for his art. He uses the term “intertwangled” for his type of art as he mixes so many objects, drawn forms, and subject matter together. Anthony’s work defies categorization and creates a humorous commentary on modern life. Themes of death, work and relationships form the core of his approach to crafting his bizarre creations.

Next, I applied a 1/4" bead of construction adhesive to the front of the frame, using the zigzag pattern suggested on the tube.
Supermarine Spitifre Mk.PRXIX PS915. Build in 1945, a little to late to see action over Nazi Germany. With the Cold War progressing during the Berlin Air Lift, reconnaissance flights were a daily job for this Spitfire during 1948-1949. Now a proud member of the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight.

Rhinestones and a brass fitting. Quarter for size. Yes the rhinestones have a silver backing but it can be sanded off and the fitting is the perfect size for an LED.

The build guide states you should use 3 M10 washers either side of the strut as spacers between that and the inner face of each bush. I could only get 2 each side to fit (looks like 1 in this shot) and it feels very tight with no play at all.
I've done my usual trick of just using plain M10 nuts and not nylocs for the moment to give the opportunity to take it apart again.
I also wonder if I should remove some material from the inner face of each polyurethane top hat where they touch as there shouldn't be that big gap between the eye and the bush. Maybe using a big repair washer this side too will squeeze things together a bit and solve the problem?

Bus Build To Move Our Company to North Carolina! Taking a city bus and converting it to move the company that makes these products....they are coming with us, of course!
Last week I attended Belfast's very own design festival, Build, founded by the man himself, Andy McMillan.
It always proves to be a great week and this year was no different. By volunteering I had the opportunity to spend most of the week around many creative minds, and meet the designers who inspire me.
mmm, chocolate.
I wrote a short blog about my Build experience, have a read on my blog - Build 2012 Blog Post
