Some of the extra wood was the perfect size making sure the collar doesn't move around. I used the hinges as a template for where to drill my holes.

Young Samburu boy drinking goat blood. The blood is drunk by moran (warriors) and younger children in order to build up strength. This photo was taken at dawn in a Samburu manyatta (farmsted) in northern Kenya that I stayed in.

Got my Heated Build Platform parts from Ponoko today!
Things to fix in the next version:
- Bottom build platform magnet & bolt holes are in the wrong place.
- Need 0.4mm bumps instead of 0.1mm for better friction fit of perpendicular parts.
- Delrin was too thick for 3*2mm layers; was probably 0.1"=2.54mm thick. May simplify to two layers & fill gap anyway.
Toy wish list: vinyl cutter like CraftRobo for paper prototyping and thermochromic sheet cutting.
