The guys with the wigs on won the canoe race that was held earlier that day. It was part of the interaction that was going on between the sailing rendezvous people and native Tahitians.
I have made several attempts to photograph Puffins up close and personal and today was my lucky break. Upon arriving there were approximately 25 or 30 on land prancing around. I have shots of just one Puffin, two in a shot, three, four and more! Over the next few days I will be converting from RAW to Jpeg and uploading a few at a time. Photographing Puffins crossed off my bucket list :)
ps NO CROPPING WAS DONE ON THESE SHOTS! Wasn't necessary as they were sooo close!
