I attended a Maryland blue crab fest tonight in a Philadelphia backyard. The hosting family just put all the crabs in a huge black trash bag and let people pick out the crabs one by one. I wish I'd gotten a shot of the sack o' crabs at the start of the evening. At the end, this is what it looked like.

Bucket Man was my favorite street performer in San Francisco. Apparently he was in the move Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith. He has a picture of him and Will framed. He was extremely talented and fun to watch.

Compost buckets for residences

It's not the biggest bucket I've seen, but you could still park a car in there. And that's me leaning against it.

I went to the Spoetzl Brewery on Friday, where they make Shiner beers. My souvenir was an authentic bucket. I christened it with some Shiner Bohemian Black Lager.

BTW, are buckets of beer a Texas thing? I've seen it nowhere else, but I am hardly worldly.
