Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes' commercial logging site on Flathead Reservation. Commercial projects are also used for forest management of the WUI in Lake County. This thinning project is in the same area as the Rocky Point-White Swan Forest Resilience Targeted Implemntation Plan (TIP) under Montana Focused Conservation (MFC). The purpose of the TIP is to improve forest resilience to weather and pest issues, decrease the likelihood of catastrophic wildfire in the Wildland Urban Interface, and improve forest health. My favorite of the bunch. There's a dark blue color inside that bucket. It may have looked cool (at an alternate angle) but the ground was wet. One case where an Angle Finder would have been helpful.

Two leather fire buckets, riveted construction, the base uses rivets and roves/washers, the top band is thin metal. Similar buckets are in Cawdor castle.

Leather buckets back to at least the 16th century all seem to be 400mm/16" high and similar diameter.

At oh-so-quaint Sheringham Station

I was unable to hang all the buckets yesterday. Someone moved all the buckets from the storage area to another and forgot about it. So I spent four hours looking for them and tearing places apart only to learn they got moved to a building two towns away!

Yeah... Last place I looked.

So everything got finished up today
