Once again my local feed store provided me with a essential tool. This
device is normally placed in a bucket of water and quickly brings up
the temperature so you could wash a horse. I needed something to heat
my grease containers so I could filter it in the winter.

Lecco was home base during my trip to the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix. About 30 minutes away from the track it was not too far, but gave you a feeling of being on holiday.

Since we are in search of a pump capable of moving papercrete we
needed to do it the old fashioned way today. Manual buckets 3 at a
time in a wheel barrel. Scoop up the PC from the mixer and dump it
into the dome. Its messy, but effective.
One would end up being too small for all the grapes that were given to us! A very generous vineyard.

These weren't homemade, but this is more-or-less the shape of hat I'd like to be able to make. Most of the ones in the shops are too small for me.

An old rusty bucket left on the steps at a house in Bodie CA. Normally, all these different lines don't work in an image. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal.....but for some reason they seem to work here. Thoughts?

Every year since 1959, the village of Shepherd in Isabella County has tapped its abundant supply of maple trees in late winter to gather sap to produce maple syrup for its annual Maple Syrup Festival. These trees in town are being tapped the old way with metal taps and buckets. They also have a pump and hose system that is used on stands of trees in the nearby woods outside town. In the best years, over 1500 gallons of syrup are produced. Some is used for pancake meals at the festival, while much is sold to visitors and in stores throughout the area.
