Camoed up on the beach. This was lomokev's second spade as he snapped the first one in half digging a moat around a sandcastle.

Karachi, Pakistan: A girl looks at me taking her picture. She's been bucketing water out of her house in Machar Colony following the 2007 winter floods. It was important that as much water be removed from the home before it became stagnant. The only probelm is that it drains back into the house as soon as its bailed out, and there are no sewage pipes to drain the water out to sea.
The Buried Life is quite possibly one of my favorite shows out right now. Totally inspiring and up lifting. A show that encourages you to push bounries, definately something worth watching. So it has motivated me to finish writing up my own bucketlist.
I recently finished writing mine up. Haha I felt pretty accomplished cause it took me a while to figure out 100 things I wanna do before I die. Sooooo this is number 9! :)
Ive already got one crossed off which was to try veganism. And let me tell you, it was the HARDEST thing I have done yet haha. Im gonna commit most of my summer to my list, since school will be out of the picture. I plan on documenting the adventure of crossing things off so I'll most likely make a new flickr just for those photos. Just talking about all of this gets me really excited. x)

The C-45 is a military transport version of the Beechcraft Model 18, which began its 32 year production lifespan in 1937. It was the result of Walter Beech’s desire in 1935 to build a low-wing monoplane to compete with the commercial biplanes of the day, like the Curtis Condor.

The C-45 was first ordered by the U.S. Army Air Corps for use as a staff transport. It was continually modified throughout its production life with changes like increased seating capacity and a longer nose. A navigator training version was put in service as the AT-7, and a float-version was designated the AT-7A.

The Model 18 was further modified during 1941 as the advanced trainer AT-11, equipped with a small bomb bay, transparent nose section, and two .30 cal. machine guns. This variant was used for bombardier and gunnery training. A photo reconnaissance model, designated the F-2, was the final wartime variant of the Model 18 The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps also acquired more than 1500 Model 18s during World War II, with respective identifiers of JRB and SNB.

I passed this scene on Cartier Avenue in Pointe-Claire and had to stop to do a very quick sketch. The booms on the bucket trucks were all moving back and forth ever so slowly, like giant praying mantises or daddy long legs in the sky.
Last night I had a dream that I was supposed to watch my neighbor's cats for a week but I forgot. I woke up feeling a little disturbed. I walked to the beach to get away from that feeling. Anyway, some kids were playing with this bucket set up. They had little nets and were scooping up tiny fish into the buckets. The mom said I could take some shots but not of the kids. I guess she could tell I was a disturbed cat neglecter :) Taken for our daily challenge - one chair
