I passed this scene on Cartier Avenue in Pointe-Claire and had to stop to do a very quick sketch. The booms on the bucket trucks were all moving back and forth ever so slowly, like giant praying mantises or daddy long legs in the sky.
These are the last few I am going to post of my niece, Ella. I really had a lot of fun taking these pictures...she slept like a baby...he!he!!:)

FGR- Bucket List (2/20/08)
Last fall I did an internship in Washington D.C. with a senator. He took us to lunch one day and he told us of a family tradition, where each family member has a list of 100 things they want to accomplish in their lifetime. When they accomplish one of the things they put it on another list, so when they are having a bad day they can look at the list and see all that they have accomplished, The list always has to be 100 long, so when they finish one they have to add another. As you can see I am working on my list, its not that easy, I need to finish it!
My son participated in the ice bucket challenge that was so popular in the summer. Here his friend his pouring from the bucket.

Guinness once ran an ad campaign with the slogan, "out of the darkness comes light." I suppose the same could be said of lenses.
This is actually a test shoot with my new SB-600 I just received as a birthday present from my wife to compliment my SB-800.
Strobist Info: SB-800 to the right bounced off ceiling, SB-600 to the left bounced off ceiling, both triggered via CLS/AWL.
The Buried Life is quite possibly one of my favorite shows out right now. Totally inspiring and up lifting. A show that encourages you to push bounries, definately something worth watching. So it has motivated me to finish writing up my own bucketlist.
I recently finished writing mine up. Haha I felt pretty accomplished cause it took me a while to figure out 100 things I wanna do before I die. Sooooo this is number 9! :)
Ive already got one crossed off which was to try veganism. And let me tell you, it was the HARDEST thing I have done yet haha. Im gonna commit most of my summer to my list, since school will be out of the picture. I plan on documenting the adventure of crossing things off so I'll most likely make a new flickr just for those photos. Just talking about all of this gets me really excited. x)

Don't know if you have a bucket list or planning to make one for 2012 but this is a great example ;-)
Thanks for all the beautiful photo's the joy and the comment on Flickr.
have a great 2012
Every photographer has a "Bucket List" shot list. This is one of mine. Naturally, there are some areas for improvement (like the blown out sun), but overall I'm happy with the result. Is it perfect? No. But it's close as I was able to get to the shot I had in my head. Luckily, since it's not perfect, that means I get to go back and try again.
This little bucket is full of chocolate and my wife has warned not t even think of taking anything from it 😉

Complete with Cherry Picker Bucket, truck stabilizers, Dumping bed. Chipper with open shoot, and safety bar.
Almost finished. Just have to add the lining (which will be that yellow fabric underneath). From Chase's lovely tutorial.

This wild T bucket was built as a tribute to the owner's prior drag racing lifestyle!
