These photos were taken during the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, held annually in State College, PA. Kids love to run around under the buckets and try to avoid getting hit with water. I love the vibrant colors here!
A nice T-bucket seen at the Surf Breeze 1st Annual Car Show in Satellite Beach on Feb 18th.

I'm not doing the bucket challenge, but our theme of the week was bucket, so I found a tin bucket that once held an array of holiday goodies from a vendor in the back room of my office. Then I strolled down the hall where there is an empty studio for rent to take this photo.

For the Baby Set Up Group:
I used an old ice cream bucket, and put a sand bag in the bottom. Then I put a towel down and then the brown blanket. I always try and have the set up all ready to stick baby right in. But, it can be hard to judge how many blankets to put in the bottom.
For this one, I should have had more - he needed to be a tad higher I think. An assistant would have been helpful - I really need to get one! :)
The background is a stand my dad made - it is a sheet of stained paneling.
I have never agreed with the idea of the bucket list. Trying to fulfill all the desires of a lifetime seems to me an effort leading towards failure. How awful to die not having completed everything on your list. Mr. Puff and I are doing things a little differently. We are adding things to the bucket, so when he goes, we both know that he finished many adventures in his lifetime.
He always wants to sleep on this little table that is on my balcony. It is a little too close to the railing for my comfort so he has never been allowed. Today, he jumped up and insisted that he have a nap with his sunbeam, and today, he got to add that to his bucket list as a complete.
His fur is all ruffled because of the chemo. He is losing fur on his back, but he is still so very handsome and happy and enjoying life.
This little frog got stuck in a bucket in our back garden. We put a wooden stick to help him out, but he decided to just lie on it.
Taken at Stowe in Buckinghamshire, very dull day to start with but early afternoon saw some lovely strong light to create these beautiful shadows.
loved these buckets today ~ wanted to quip something eloquent about bucket lists ~ but couldn't arrive at anything ~ oh well ;)
this cat really likes to pose. i found this cat playing inside a bucket, outside a small shop i passed, while i was walking by the alleys of macau.
Our Daily Challenge ... abandoned.
I didn't have to go far before finding this old fishing bucket washed up onto the shore of the lake.
A young woman wearing a red bikini top and a bucket hat emblazoned with the word "FUCKIN" walks toward a music festival with her head bowed and lips pursed in a pout. The image captures a moment of introspection and attitude amidst the vibrant festival atmosphere.
Here’s the other half of my city services fleet at the moment. The bucket has some hinge bricks connecting it to a turntable plate in the bed of the truck so it’s able to get to high to reach places.
It's great to see buckets instead of tubes. Best snow storm of the season today for us in the SW corner of New Hampshire and Spring begins tomorrow. I enjoyed shooting with Kari Post today. Kari is a great photographer. It was fun to get her out to a few of my favorite locations.
Westmoreland, New Hampshire.
This is a chalkboard in a neighborhood in our inner city area. It has spaces for people to write what they want to do before they die. The answers ranged from "Sail solo" to "Call Mom" to "Kiss Justin Beiber". It made me smile, and it made me think, too.
Enjoy, everyone, happy weekend!
Lightning at the Grand Canyon has long been my "holy grail" bucket list photo. I've been at it for more than a decade, with little more than a couple decent photos to show for it. Conditions change rapidly at the Canyon. Even at the height of summer, temperatures often plummet into the 40's and 50's at the Rim, making nocturnal lightning even rarer.
