Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is brush.
So here we go: my blue paper boat sailing on a blue paint. And of course, the « blue river » was paint by a floating brush. I hope a floating brush will be accepted for this challenge even if it isn’t very common…
I hope you like it my friends !! Have a beautiful Friday ! See you later my friends !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
It's an old wire brush, shot on a bright green surface, the color of which is picked up by the wire bristles.

Brush piles are an important habitat for different kinds of wildlife. They provide cover from predators and places for nests, escape routes, and dens. Insects are attracted to the decomposing wood, which provides a bounty of food for birds, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals.
Have you ever brushed Sugar Crystals ?

There were many wonderful wildflowers coming into bloom in the meadow and lake basin at Owyhigh Lakes. Paintbrush is one of my favorite wildflowers and blooms in a variety of colors in the Pacific Northwest, including orange, red, a lighter shade of pink, yellow, and my personal favorite, the magenta pictured here.
(You may notice a floral 'theme' to my posts this week as I am kind of obsessed with wildflowers. Walking into a wildflower meadow I can literally feel my heart lifting and radiating joy. Which then results in taking excessive amounts of flower photos!)
A morning perch is disturbed! And now he's irritated at me (I point my tail feathers in your general direction). I blew out the wing a little, sorry)

Dear friends, I've realized this capture overlaying 2 photos. This because I wanted to merge 2 waves "shapes" that I liked.
