Big as a table at Red Robin

As this shop is built on a slope, the rear windows are almost at ground level with the ceiling being at about chest height from this side of the building.

From the inside it seems normal apart from the fact you are looking at peoples knees as they walk past outside.

(The shop assistant inside is stood on a step ladder).

Hi everyone...I'm still here...just lots to do on this house outside so we've been super busy making hay while the sun shines! I have been writing more poetry over on Twitter though. Acct @PoetrySkep

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

Listening to....Brick House - The Commodores

The Alcazaba of Malaga, Spain. This fortress palace, whose name in Arabic means citadel, is one of the city's historical monuments and is much visited because of its history and beauty.

The building that dates from the Muslim period is located at the foot of the Gibralfaro hill, crowned by the Arab defence works to which the Alcazaba is connected by a walled passage known as the Coracha. With the Roman Theatre and the Aduana Customs Building, this special corner offers the chance to observe Roman, Arab and Renaissance culture, all within a few yards of each other.

According to Arab historians, it was built between 1057 and 1063 at the instructions of Badis, King of the Berber Taifa of Granada. Transported material was used in its construction and columns, capitals and other materials were taken from the nearby Roman Theatre.

Sweet!

A post out at nowhere, with no traffic, no people and no complete regiment to look down my throat.

A pencil pushing lieutenant who will believe anything I say, and a fresh recruit to boss around!

Yes Sergeant Jones, this is one posting I am going to enjoy....

I don't know why I, a life-long teacher, like this Pink Floyd song as much as I do. Perhaps it's because I never used "dark sarcasm in the classroom". For those who either enjoy the song or want to hear it for the first time, feel free to click on this link:

Drift has big plans for he and Cuddle.

"Here, Cuddle! Flowers for you! Happy Valentine's!"

"Awwww, gwarsh, Dreeuuft, them's purty."

Oh, oh. Cuddle is acting demure. Which is problematic since Cuddle is never demure. She's a psychopath.

"Aha! This is MY time of the year!"

Oboy. It's the Frozen Love Ranger. He doesn't shoot darts of love. He shoots javelin sized arrows. He's a serial killer.

"I wanted you to know my heart, Cuddles!"

"Aawww! I'd luv ta get hold'a yoor heart rite naow, Dreeuft!"

"I should be able to skewer them both with one shot."

Come to think of it, the Fortnite clans aren't the best group to represent Valentine's.

BUT, nonetheless, Happy Valentine's 2026 from Paprihaven!

Welcome to Brick Walk, an ancient promenade with a Georgian-style building fully furnished. A big tree adds the nature feeling characteristic of this pedestrian walk.

Inside the house you can enjoy a cup of tea with friends or have an elegant dinner in a stylish living room with high ceilings and an old chimney. In the upper floor, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom complete the old mansion.

The Brick Walk scene is inspired by Leicester’s New Walk site in the UK, a Georgian pedestrian promenade that is more than 200 years old. It is also a tribute to all the ancient walks that are still part of many English cities. These are places where you can enjoy the pleasure of walking and sharing moments with family and friends, often surrounded with trees and beautiful terraced houses.

The building by the pedestrian walk does not refer to any actual building, but includes details and references to many different Georgian buildings common in many English cities.

So I wanted this MOC flic.kr/p/YLQEXs to feature a light brick inside the cockpit, and only had one possible place for a button mechanism. I didn't want to alter the look of the gun turret/base too much, turned out I hardly had to change it, only a round tile changed to an inverted round plate.

One slope is there to push the light's trigger, the 2 others, while not absolutely necessary, keep things straight & stable. The outer ring prevents the button from falling off, as it lets the round plate pass, but blocks the slope parts. Works pretty well!

(45 degree slopes fit the trigger's slope better, but don't work any better, only use more parts)

I also have a design for a clicky flip switch, used in another MOC, if anyone is interested.
