The Hydrogen bus project has been nominated for an award but the long term plans to expand the project are now in doubt following the Brexit vote as the European Union will no longer which to invest money in a project that could soon be based outwith the EU. Therefore it seems likely the ten currently in Aberdeen will now be the first and last hydrogen buses in the city.
64994 seen here at Perwinnies Moss on the 4 to ARI, a shortworking which allows the bus to return back to the depot after finishing at Dubford on the X40 on a Saturday.
It always frustrates me how you can stand for 5 minutes on a road waiting for a bus and no traffic appears then just as the bus comes along so does a car the opposite way....

As English politicians become ever more befuddled with the implications of their ill-conceived referendum, this bird is a symbol of their quandary.
It may decide to dip its head in the water, and return to the known known of white swan. Or it may like the way it looks right now and head stubbornly into the world of known unknowns. Or will it dig deep and become a black swan, prepared to face the unknown unknowns?
We should know soon enough - like this bird I'll stick my neck out and predict it will return to white swanhood ere long. But then my predictions rarely come true.
U is for unicorn. This isn't just any old unicorn, it's a Brexit unicorn: a mythical beast that lives in the sunlit meadows of Boris Johnson's 'new golden age'. As such, it is even more of a fantasy creature than a normal unicorn.
You can tell those people aren't British: they haven't lined up in the orderly queue on the other side of the bus stop...
