The sun trying to breakthrough the clouds above the Rijks Museum

Tulips emerging from the winter hibernation

Beautiful light as the sun broke through the clouds and lit up the snow in the air.

I couldn’t stand the overcast skies anymore so I took a drive over to Meadowlark Gardens. Of course the sun tried to break through. But it’s okay. There’s always something to photograph at Meadowlark.

Elsie the Tunnel Boring Machine breaking through into Broadway-City Hall Station.

I intentionally caught some lens flare on this one. I liked how the light broke through the leaves. I also intentionally used an off level tilt in my composition. I know some people are hardcore about keeping horizons level and straight and neat...to which I say "F the man! Power to the people!". Not really. I just like to bend the rules alot. I'm a loner, Dotty. A rebel.

Every day they are getting braver and braver, but I almost cried with happiness with what they did today.

I had their door open, and Camille with me, and I sat down on the floor a couple metres away from their room, stroking Camille, little Sabre came out. He saw Camille and made the chirrupy noise which is like a happy welcome, very polite in cat language.

He then walked over, past me and nosed her, then took a look in the study, came back out again and saw Camille again. Then Bella came out too, and went over to Camille too! I was so amazed that they didn't mind be being there, then Sabre and Bella went up the stairs and he began scratching the carpet on it - that may not be a good thing but it is too me! It was anothe sign that they're relaxing.

Then the bit that made me cry slightly, Sabre came down the stairs, smelled my shoes, walked round then layed down on the floor, and rolled over onto his belly, he finally looked happy and calm - I'm just so proud of them!!

I'll upload some more of this later today! ^_^

One Ocean - SeaWorld Orlando

So I went to goodwill and got like 20 bucks worth of beveled mats for like $3 and a couple of ELO records for $2. It's pretty sweet! Haha. Oh how I love being a cheap skate. :p

It was a rare morning to see such light breakthrough the thick clouds. Somebody will say it is the "Heaven's light". Well, I am not sure how to describe it or how to capture it in a better way. To me, I like this wide panorama view of the surrounding things in this classic spot :) It is definitely a once in a life time chance to see it in person. I was so lucky in here to take this very lucky snapshot of the day!

I recently moved to Dublin, Ireland for a semester abroad. Coming from Colorado, this is a completely different landscape for me to photograph so I am very excited and blessed to be here in such a beautiful country.

This was a shot of some quickly disapearing light in the field at the front door of Malahide Castle.

Another from yesterday morning while out having a first play with a Camdiox 10 stop filter.

Probably the best light of the morning as the sun rose above the fog and into the low clouds above.
