a great day shooting in London arranged by natalie and matthew at another marvellous Miss Aniela Fashionshoot Experience. I was fortunate enough to work with my friend michael avina; we had so much fun. I have learnt such a lot from Michael, Natalie and Matthew over the past year or so.

The whole team of hair and MUAs, stylists and assistants were brilliant - top notch stuff. Michael and I had a run of luck with the combinations of costumes, hair design, make up, sets, lighting, weather and AMAZING models. So very many images and good memories from the day; here is the first from me.

I caught several like this on this shoot, I like how the spout just slipped right through the collision. I hope everyone enjoys, thanks for looking.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Zero metres at 16:34pm on Monday 2nd May 2016 off of Island Highway 1, having walked along the almost dry river bed which runs through Goldstream Provincial Park, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The park is seventeen kilometres from Downtown Victoria, and is renowned for it's old growth temperate rain forest and the location for the annual Chum Salmon spawning where Eagles await the returning fish and the cycle of life is played out to a violent, though wondrous climax.

This picture is dedicated to my little girl that has been going through a tough time this spring, struggling with severe pain and disease.

Now a breakthrough has come and she is slowly recovering, happily for her and the family.

We love you Hanna!

All Volvos on deck for the Surrey County Show services of course meant 6402 (GN04 UDP) having a go. It's seen here at the end of Nightingale Road on the show park and ride to the university.

Nightingale Road is made one way eastbound for the day, presumably to prevent buses getting stuck passing opposing traffic.

Unfortunately, this (admittedly lovely) beech tree isn't cut back for just the one day a year, which is why 6402 has just clattered it out of the way.

In fact, the branches were so low, not even the B7RLE singles were making it through without their roofs and air con pods touching it.

Sometimes there may be breakthoughs with tasks which we thought are impossible. Press on, don't give up.

Usually, I have to shoot my WR photo a few times. Dumb(er) expression, cut off some important part, lighting poor. But today, I did it in one shot and I think this pic may be the closest to the true color of the boots.

I've found a place to live :) I still wont have furniture of any kind, but I have a roof and

a camera and my children and that's all that matters right now. I have a wonderful

friend waiting for me on the 'other side' and I look forward now to the journey. I still

have a lot to worry about and some new 'issues' popped up this morning that gave

me serious pause, but I'm not one to back down from a challenge. The stakes are

too high right now for backing down. Wo-man up, as a friend says. Ya, I can do that.

This will more than likely be my last post for quite some time. Telephone service is

a luxury, not a necessity.. so who knows how things will go. Thank you ALL for the

visits, encouragement, support and flickr love :D You gave me strength on numerous

occasions and I'm thankful for that. A good majority of you have been rooting for me

for close to 2 yrs now... and not a second of it has gone unnoticed.

Take care! Send all the good vibes and wishes you can muster, we need them all :)

P.S. Please forgive unanswered email, I just cant keep up and all of this.

A few moments later & the sun had broken through the cloud creating a path along the water. I decided to experiment a bit here & turned the colour temperature down a bit.

morning after tremendous lightning storm

An early morning trip out with my buddy nalamanpics .. back in the UK who seems to have put a jinx on the weather since his return from Africa.

Well this isnt quite what we expected, the forecast was for fog, but the wind had picked up overnight and lifted the clouds.

No complaints though, the early sun breaking through a few gaps gave a different kind of drama to the shots.

Stacked the filters up for these shots, expecting to convert to mono, but seeing the colours on the screen, I couldnt bring myself to lose the colour.

Filters consisted of a 10 stop neutral density and a pair of graduated filters over the sky, one a 4 stop, the other a 2 stop. A bit extreme :)

The Sun is hiding behind the trees. This is actually at our campsite. Karadjica Mountain, Macedonia.

This is a pinhole shot of an amazing sunrise in Corsica (France), taken a few month ago with a PinHolga. There's a digital version from the same spot.

I couldn’t stand the overcast skies anymore so I took a drive over to Meadowlark Gardens. Of course the sun tried to break through. But it’s okay. There’s always something to photograph at Meadowlark.
