Pandemonium broke out in the heart of Manhattan on Saturday when two men were shot on the ice at the popular Bryant Park skating rink just after 11 p.m., the police said.
At least one of the victims was taken away in an ambulance, officials said.
A witness who would not give his name said that he saw one man skate up to another, pull a gun and fire.

Six Eurostar trains stand idle at London's St Pancras station today. About 500 people are stranded after a fire on the French side of the tunnel set of smoke alarms and closed the tunnel. Some passengers returning from France to England were evacuated off the train inside the tunnel and given gas masks.they were taken to an airtight concrete room within the tunnel where they had to wait for two hours before being returned to Calais in France.
A fire in a truck that was being transported through the Channel Tunnel triggered an alarm which led to suspension of all passenger and freight rail services between Britain and France on Saturday, police said. No injuries were reported.
Railway operator Eurostar suspended all services for Saturday and said trains were returning to their original stations.
Kent Police said the fire was at the French end of the tunnel.

My heart & prayers go out to all the victims, families and friends affected by the mass murder in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012. My heart breaks, as I'm sure yours does also, over the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting atrocity. It is especially grevious as the majority of victims were children who still had their baby teeth. There are 20 innocent children dead. Children. Babies. Young, innocent, impressionable, hope~filled lives taken suddenly and senselessly in the one place they had a right to feel safest outside the home: their school. The school principal, a guidance counselor and teachers are also among the dead. Brave women and heroes. Our nation weeps and mourns once again. We must find a better way to diagnose and treat mental illness in this country. And when, but when, will this nation take some meaningful gun control action? This violence must stop and must stop NOW!! We will never forget this tragedy. Let us all pray for the twenty little angels, six brave women and heroes, and all their families and friends. Love, Peace, and Healing be with them all!

This breaking news reports that Santa, due to financial cutbacks of Campbell Newman, has said he can only deliver half of the Christmas presents to children this year. It is understood that Rudolf has taken matters into his own antlers.
Rudolf was heard to say he has had enough.
Reports say Rudolf has taken charge of the other reindeers with the sleigh and that Rudolf has commenced delivering presents to all children.

A distraught Emma Roberts is comforted by boyfriend Evan Peters after arriving in New Orleans, as news broke of her arrest for domestic violence against Peters. Roberts met with Peters at a studio, where she chatted on a phone and soon began crying. Peters tried comforting her with a hug, with the two eventually going into the studio together. The domestic violence incident, occurring on July 7th, took place at a Montreal hotel when someone called police to report a fight in a hotel room. Law enforcement arrived to find Peters with a bloody nose and possible bite mark, prompting the arrest of Emma. She was released a few hours later after Peter's refused to press charges. The couple, still together, will be filming the 3rd season of "Amn Horror rror Story" in the upcoming weeks.
