Packaged very differently than the pullips! It's a pretty box tho. I'd seen a J-Doll before, but this was my first time seeing a J-Doll box...

This is a treasure box that my best friend from grade school got me many, many years ago when she and her family went to Germany. I used to keep my hairpins in it, now I keep my smashed pennies inside. Still my treasure box after all these years...

I'm going back to get the large one for a jewelry box.
This project was done for mixed media course by me. It has more than one concept, and I will not say them. It will be interesting if you make your own concept and share it with me =)
I made the keys which are inside the box by myself. All people asked me how did you make them? But I did not tell anyone of them lol =)
Also, I wrote an Arabic story around it.
It will be my secret.. It is not from wax, it is not from clay. I'm sure that nobody will know it :p

Teardrop Box
Top: four teardrop twists, with two 60º pleat intersections between them.
I did a different one with four triangle twists on top (2 on each side). I´ll post it later.

Metal boxes filled with preserved moss and flowers
2 sizes:
small - 7.5 cm x 7 cm x 3.5 cm
large - 9 cm x 8.5 cm x 4 cm
Alston signal box is a North Eastern Railway (NER) type S5 structure that originally stood at Ainderby rebuilt on a new brick base here at Alston in 1991 the box contains a 21-lever McKenzie & Holland frame.
Here 4 wheel battery electric locomotive No 21 'Carlisle' built by Clayton for Metronet Rail/Transport for London, is captured bringing in the ecs for the 10.30 Alston-Slaggyford (11.05) service on the South Tynedale Railway.
The South Tynedale Railway is a preserved 2ft narrow gauge railway and at 875ft is 2nd second highest after the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway.
The line currently runs from Alston (Cumbria) to Slaggyford (Northumberland) which is 5 miles long and runs along the southern section of the trackbed, of the former 13 mile Haltwhistle to Alston Branch Line which was closed by British Rail on the 3rd May 1976.

Originally a slide from 1979. When I saw the boxes it was only 34 years after WW2, so there could have been something lethal still inside.
The former signal box closed in 1994 and was denied a dignified end as is was the victim of an arson attack.
The line to the right goes into the exchange sidings still in use today,behind the box is the former station buildings.

Some have asked what is a macro box or have wanted to see it. Well here she is. I cut out 3 sides of a 12x12x12 box and taped tissue paper to them. Cut the top and bottom flaps off. I can use the side flaps to keep in some of the light from the light on the side. I have this light from my Dragons cage. Eventually i will use a flash.
