our children's class set about weeding the garden in front of the Baha'i Centre today. my mom taught them how to do it (and other lessons about plant care).
My newest and currently fav stitchery.. I've got this one out on my end table and smile every time I see it. It's done in chain stitches for stems and stem stitches for leaves.

Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach, Florida. Mounts Garden is not very "educational" for people like me who are interested but don't know much botany. Very few labels or information otherwise presented so I've posted a lot of unidentified plant pictures from this trip.
