ABOUT:
The 3in1 Neo Classic space set proposal "Antares" does not feature only neo classic space but the antagonists as well: Blacktrons. For brick saving reasons I revised the colors in a more dark gray/black look.
The Blacktron Assault Mech is included in the Galaxy Dropship scenario, as does the cargo bay for the Blacktron spaceship (which converts it in a dropship). It is a medium sized bot armed with plasma blasters, laser cannons and 4 balistic missiles. The usual limbs move and rotate, the windshield opens up.
Check these mocs out at LegoIdeas.

The Federation of Robots for Ethics and the Environment (FREE) started off as a couple of guys that found a Bramble in a ditch.
Seriously damaged with it's head blown off, the skirmish that had left it there in that state had long moved to pastures new. It seemed such a shame to leave it there to rust, but there was far too much missing and not enough spare parts to return it to it's former glory. Even the robust A.I. systems were shot.
From that Bramble came the first Salvage bot. Built from 80% of a Bramble (give or take), his body was fully reconfigured and his brains rebuilt from what was at hand. The final touch was a fractal algorithm was applied to his programming to truly randomise his personality, making him unique and as unpredictable as any human!
Luckily for FREE, the first Salvage Bot was friendly and helpful. This proved to be somewhat of a default state for an intelligent being, something discovered as more and more parts were retrieved from the battlefields to construct more Salvage bots.
There was the odd one that had an attitude problem tho, one that couldn't bare to be separated from a weapon of some sort - these were named after angry bugs, like WASP and deployed to protect the rest of the crew if need be. Mostly they just fired blanks, but the noise and mad flailing was enough to diffuse most situations... even if that was through laugher.
The Salvage Bots, while not smart enough to be set loose and determine their own purpose (FREE's AI routine reconstruction would never match up to Rothchild's original solution), they served for a long time as the backbone of the repair and release program that FREE started all those years ago.
Another bot? Why not.
This one will tighten up your bolts and grease your hinges, but prefers the lube.
Simple, yes, table scrap distraction, yes.
You've seen them in white now here they are in brown. Sexy, classy, comfy, and best of all cheap. They got me a lot of compliments when I wore them out a few nights ago.
The futuristic bot that time-warps in from time to time and place to place. It is unknown what his motives are.

Bone Yard Pic. Practicing “Shelter in Place/Stay at Home Order”. Being a care provider for two Octogenarians with serious health issues I have to play it safe for their sake as we get through this COVID-19 pandemic. That means, staying inside when not at work. (I work in the social services field. Social Services direct care providers are considered “essential workers”). Going through the archives and posting pics that were never processed. Looking at old pics often brings back sweet memories of yesterday. Stay safe everyone.
A welcome sight on the battlefield to wounded bots, and an inspirational figure to the warrior class bots, the Cleric serves a distict purpose. He protects and rewires, he shields and inspires. Although not a warrior, the cleric bot is not to be triffled with. Anyone interupting his duties will soon feel the heavy end of his staff, and his heavy shield keeps all but the strongest attacks at bay.
Another bot a bit bigger then my usual little guys. Kind of a weird idea I know, but it is what it is. Some parts do not feel complete to me, but once again the weekend's over and so is my build time. Still with the different lighting - it's not unbearable so I'll leave it as is for now.

A couple of bots that I rustled up in the last couple of days to bring along for the lulz. We've got the Big Nipper, aka the Chairminator (it uses 5, 4 minifig and 1 technic. But you can only see 3 clearly here) with the tank treads and grabby claws, and the Stompy McWobblebottom mortar-launching mech. So named because the hips use my new favourite joint technique of mini balljoints in 1x2 doubleclips. It's a great connection, but not the sturdiest. More pics after STEAM.
I made a couple of modifications to the 8-wheeler too. It now boasts carrying points for those probe-y bits you put on top of rockets, MOAR floodlights, and a couple of TrOrnj antenna. Just cos.
Oh, and there's an ostrich wearing a bubble helmet. SPACE OSTRICH! (Anyone who was at AFOLCON will remember my mililand-scaled ostrich cavalry. It was a great hit with all the little kids and even adults that didn't really care about my spaceships. It's a talking point, essentially. I'm not crazy at all. Much.)
11-03-14_MG_9020 Never seen one of these before but pretty cool looking for a fly, So far the best guess at the ID is Cuterebra fontinella But not carved in stone yet.
nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarphatikade
Wolff.
Neon Bot- equipped with a neon cannon and impenetrable armor nothing stands in the way of this mech.

He doesn't like covering his studs...
Just a quick build using parts from the last AZLUG parts draft. It's fairly posable and features a bending and twisting torso/spine.

Step 1:
Take two 3.5 x 3.5 inch tiles (official Zentangle tiles or tiles made out of good sturdy paper like Bristol board or something similar).
In pencil, draw the same string on both tiles. The strings don’t have to be painstakingly exactly the same, but should be easily recognizable as the same string.
Step 2:
Pick one section of the string and fill it with the same tangle on both of the tiles.
Please stick to traditional black & white for this swap, and do not do any shading yet.
Please use only official Zentangle patterns and/or any of the patterns that are listed on the TanglePatterns.com site. Recognizable variations on those patterns are also okay.
So at this point, you’ll have two incomplete tiles that are close enough to be identical twins.
Step 3:
Write your name on the back of one tile, and then set it aside. You won’t be doing anything else to it. (Except mailing it later.)
Complete the other Zentangle tile, shading if you wish. Please do your best work, erase stray lines, etc.
Sign the back of the finished tile with your name and the date.
Place it in its own individual sleeve or small envelope, so that your recipient won’t see it inadvertently.
Step 4:
Send both tiles to your partner. Please put something stiff in the envelope with them to help protect them on their trip.
Step 5:
When you receive the tiles from your partner, it’s up to you whether you want to see the finished “twin” right away, or whether you want to finish tangling the other tile before comparing the two “twins.”
If you can’t complete the string right away: Please take a peek at the finished tile, so that you’ll be able to rate promptly. Then you can tuck it out of sight again, so that it doesn’t influence what you do with its “twin.”
Step 6 - Optional:
It would be cool if you could take a picture of both twins together when they’re done and share it in the group forum.
