I don't know what to say for a backstory here.
Going for another small bot/scene and wanted to have a futuristic meets primal feeling. I know that eye piece is overused but I still think the bot looks original enough.

Er word een kleine haven gegraven voor kano,roeiboot sup. reeds in 2011 was er een samenwerkingsverband bureu Lans-schap ontwerp en advies, de Ooievaart en MORFIS architecten. Dat plan heeft nooit doorgang gevonden Er is nu een aangepast plan dat in 2023 zijn voltooiing vind. De beeldengroep stelt Prins Maurits en zijn burgers voor. Beeld gemaakt door Joop van Lunteren .

Older bots didn't have a lot going for them in terms of emotional expression. You can never quite be sure just what they're thinking.
This MT9 - Manipulator bot is of alien design, intimidating as it may be it is not used for war, just simple repair tasks....maybe that's why he seems so angry. A stong leader figure to other simpler bots, he demands respect. Maintenance personal are becoming aware of his increasing disatisfaction level, as they have noted he can often be heard talking to himself under his breath. Saying things like, "I'd ripe your face off if I didn't have to weld this damn pipe."
A experiment in mixing barnicle and system pieces to make another medium sized bot. Used a lot of trans, not really satisfied with this one, but I'm off to work tommorrow so might as well post it now.

Found at Finca Las Piedras, near town of Monterrey in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru.
I think this was a female. It was mostly flying very close to the ground amongst the low vegetation and stopping periodically apparently to deposit eggs. Here it was resting in the sun.
