A repair and maintenance bot suited for work in reaction chambers, active engine exhaust ports, and just about any other high heat/radioactive applications. No need to shut down production and process - send in a scorch unit and watch it work in temperatures that would melt the face off a regular repair drone. Expect a slight burn in smell the first time unit is called into service.
Bot break....
Scrappy leftovers always assemble themselves into a robot if not properly resorted into the collection within 24 hours. Also robots with eyes is a thing...I think.
Cleaning mini-bot I built, inspired by these bots from Fazoom.

Also, for anyone that has been following my personal unemplyoment saga, I finally received a job offer after a much prolonged search. I accepted on Monday, and will start in February. Naturally, I expect this to cut into my building/photography time, but life is good.
EDIT: Recently blogged at The Living Brick. Thanks Iain. I'm honored.

This bot started off life as an experiment using the tower from the Ninjago City set. You know, the one with the toilet in it? yeah, that one. I loved the look of that tower and wanted to use it for something. What I ended up with was a robot that almost looks like something from a 1950s vision of the future. I like to think he'd be used to do the heavy lifting in a factory or something. Better than being a restaurant washroom.

Este es el bote salvavidas de mi pueblo, lo sacan una vez al año, hacen la exhibición (mu bonita ella) y luego ya, si te he visto no me acuerdo.
While perusing Flickr I came across this, a bot (or bots) gone wild!
Thought that some might enjoy seeing this, definitely got a block from me!
Not something I would normally post but.........
Submitted to bugguide.net for an ID. Ewww, seeing some info on the inter-net about bot flies in squirrels, rabbits and other rodents, even cats - with bot fly larva - not pretty! This is possibly a Rabbit Bot Fly, Cuterebra buccata. The larva or maggot, also called Warbles, infects the tissues under the skin, in a large cyst. Oh man, reading about them is making my skin crawl! Here's an interesting fact - the adult doesn't even have mouth parts, they live just briefly.
Heard back from Eric Eaton at bugguide.net and confirmed it is a bot fly, Cuterebra, and he's going to have a buddy look at it to figure out the species.
Heard from Jeff Boettner and he confirmed the species is Cuterebra buccata, a Rabbit Bot Fly.

These are based on Kyle Slushey's Stomp Bot design. Color scheme for the middle one is attributed to "B-rick father" as defined in this thread.
Joined by Suntron Stomp Bot (left) and Classic Space Stomp Bot (right). These were so much fun to make I went a bit overboard. A special thanks to the Slushey One for inadvertently showing me a use for flex tubing I would've never thought of :)
Ladies and Gentlemen, real people everywhere, DO NOT FAV THIS PICTURE!
Today the newly formed group "Anti-Bots and Anti-Fake" www.flickr.com/groups/anti_bot_anti_fake_photo/
is conducting a social experiment. By all means feel free to comment below, but please make sure your comment shows you are a real thinking person.
You see social media is now being taken over increasingly by Bot-users. You know, the ones you see on Flickr with 80,000 followers. How on earth did they get that number you ask (they're no Steve McCurry or Sebastio Salgado)? Well, it's simple really, they employ these Bots to scour the Flickr pages faving and following and just as quickly unfaving and unfollowing - you must have noticed this trend?
So we want to out some of these Bot-users. You see Bots can't read, all they can do is go to a page and do what they are programmed to do. So we expect that almost all the favs we get here will be from Bot-users. Of course we'll double check the stats and dismiss any silly accidental favs. But we will catch us some Bots! When we do we will BLOCK them because we want to shut them out of our own networks - they are only interested in milking us anyway.
A very special thanks to Josefine S. who developed this superb tool. Please visit her page in appreciation. www.flickr.com/photos/72616463@N00/
Feel free to keep checking back in to see how we are doing. Several members of the group are conducting this experiment simultaneously.

****UPDATE:
(1) Last night I was followed by a "person". He has 53.1K followers and has followed me at least once before. I recognised the name. Naturally he unfollowed me rather quickly (which is what these bots do). When he (or should I say his Bot) followed me again last night I commented to a friend that I wished he had waited until today.
Well this morning (like clockwork) he's unfollowed me again. He's obviously a very curious case because someone has left this comment on his testimonial: "There must be something wrong with your account: Each day I get a notification that you?re following me. I'm happy that you seem to like my pictures and want to keep up to date. But do you also unfollow me each day in order to refollow me soon after...? Sorry, but I have to block you."
That's classic Bot behaviour. And in the time I've typed this he's followed me again (twice within six hours!). So everybody beware this person is using a Bot service. He is blocked!
(2) There's a comment below which goes with a fav. The comment says, "Wonderful photograph Have a great weekend my friend."
I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions. Followed by 5K and following 1.4K. Nice comment, but for me it's a block.
(3) A well known person on Flickr with 35K followers and only following 670 people has faved this "picture". That is the classic profile of a Bot user. Many of you are probably following this guy (perhaps inadvertently). He loves to surf!
The Eye-Bots are the ultimate on-ship service team, meeting every need of the crew. The colour of the shoulder joints determines the job of that particular Eye-Bot.
Colours:
Red = Fighter Bot
Yellow = Ship Maintenance Bot
Green = Waste Disposal Bot
There you have it, the weird side of me you don't see very often. I made one of these little guys whilst on holiday last week, and in the future I hope to make a lot more of these in many different colours, when I get more parts. Sorry for the poor quality photo, hopefully I can replace it with a better one tomorrow. Finally, I have an LoR MOC coming later on!
Taken on a recent jaunt to Cornwall. Botallack Mine was created by the Industrial Revolution that shaped Cornwall.
There is evidence of tin mining in this area from the 17th Century and possibly earlier.
Botallack stands defiant above the Atlantic on Cape Cornwall, and its old workings are the most recognised symbol of Cornwall's proud mining heritage.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my photostream, favourites and comments are always welcome and appreciated.
I have also just started a facebook page so any views and likes will be gratefully received.
