With a serious antler rack and huge body mass, this was likely the boss bull of the area. He was keeping three cows close and when another, less impressive bull approached, this guy came marching out of the dense willows and the other bull quickly departed.

My neighbor's 1970 Mustang Boss 302. This car is absolutely like it came out of the factory and has won 3rd place in National competition! This car was built in October 1969 in Dearborn, MI. For more information check out the following.

Like a boss! This gull is clearly in charge. There were several gulls and coots gathered below. Just look at that wise, confident, commanding expression. And not micro managing. I'd work for him.

Usually I throw all folders with old photos away. Having seen all pics and worked on the ones I want to keep I don't feel like keeping stuff I don't like that much. But sometimes, in this case a small trip to Helgoland, there are just too much photos that might be good. On a rainy day as today is, there is time to sift through them... The centre of the Christian diocese of the anglo-saxon kingdom of Mercia was relocated to Lichfield from Repton in Derbyshire in 669 by the then-bishop of Mercia, Chad.
The existing gothic-style cathedral of Lichfield was begun at the end of the 12th century AD, and these bosses are believed to date from around this time.
