Will Turner is one of the main protagonists in Disney's 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and two of its three sequels, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. He is the son of Bootstrap Bill Turner. He was portrayed by Orlando Bloom.

William Turner first appears in The Curse of the Black Pearl as a young boy, drifing on a piece of wood out on the sea. His ship had been attacked by pirates, and a Navy ship found him. In fact, it was Elizabeth Swann who found him, though she was also a young girl at the time. She found a strange Medallion with the pirate skull and crossbones around his neck, so she took it and hid it so that the Navy Soldiers would not think he was a pirate.

Will later appeared when he was around 21 years old, when he was presenting a sword to the Governer, also Elizabeths father. He sees Elizabeth coming down the stairs and says to her that she looks beautiful. Elizabeth and Will had known each other since they had met on the ship when they were both little, and they both have feelings for each other, but don't actually show it until later on.

Jack Sparrow was running away from some guards when he hid in the blacksmiths where Will works. Will found him hiding there and they got into a fierce sword battle, Jack got caught and thrown into jail by the guards. Then, pirates attacked; pirates using Jack's Ship.

I'm making up a particular historic shirt - and this is my first version, done in a homespun plaid. I adore homespun, not so much because I like it but my mother does, and my mother taught me much of my joy to sew.

I designed the yoke overlay, the cuff placket, and the collar.
