Die Aussichtsplattform des Rheinturms bietet den Besuchern einen fantastischen Blick auf das gesamte Areal des Neuen Medienhafens. Die interessantesten Teile sind gut zu erkennen - im Vordergrund das Parlamentsufer und der Bootshafen, im Hintergrund der Alte Zollhafen mit die Living Bridge.

The observation deck of the Rhine Tower offers visitors a fantastic view of the entire area of the New Media Harbor.
The most interesting parts can be clearly seen - in the foreground the Parliament embankment and the boat harbor, in the background the old customs harbor with the Living Bridge.

Hier haben wir letzten Sommer zwei Nächte mit unserem Wohnmobil verbracht und eine schöne Paddeltour auf der Alten Elde gemacht.

Boote am Altrhein bei Daxlanden.
Inspiriert von www.flickr.com/photos/borisbox/ wunderschönen Bilder zog es mich heute Nachmittag ans Wasser. Am Altrhein bei Daxlanden liegen viele kleine Boote vertäut, manche schon seit Jahren.
Die Bilder sind in Lightroom nachearbeitet und dann nochmals in Photoshop. Ich habe Dinge wie Plastikeimer oder störende Zweige nachträglich entfernt und den Tonwertkontrast erhöht. Zuletzt habe ich die Bilder beschnitten, um die Komposition stimmig zu machen.
Inspired by www.flickr.com/photos/borisbox/ beautiful seaside pictures I went for some water this afternoon. At a particular old side arm of the river Rhine I knew this place full of small boats. Some of them are very old.
I reworked the pictures in Lightroom and lifted tonal contrast in Photoshop. Some white plastic buckets and annoying twigs I deleted. Finally I cropped the pictures to tune the composition.
