Ilustracje zbudowane na prostych kształtach-modułach opierają
się na rysunku liter kroju,
którym złożony jest tekst baśni.
Ujednolicenie części ilustracyjnej, powtarzalność jej elementów jest próbą stworzenia czegoś w rodzaju "typografii dla dzieci".
Ilustracje wykorzystują budowę książki: kontakt sąsiadujących ze sobą stron, to, że można je "przewracać"
Linia podziału między stronami staje się elementem dynamicznym,
jest równoprawną bohaterką ilustracji.
Książka wymaga wspólnej aktywności obojga jej czytelników: dziecka i dorosłego
Picturia Press worked with this client to combine all her favorite empowerment quotes into a book. We selected images that complimented her quotes, designed the interior and exterior of her 6 x 9 book.
This is a cover design I created for author Christy Douglas’s upcoming book The South I Knew: Love Letters to my Children.
