I spent an afternoon at the Heritage Centre at RAF Wyton, looking at various aircraft artefacts, in an effort to get a shot for this week’s Macro Mondays theme of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Lots of shots, of various items, until I settled for one of an ejection seat handle. This one is of an arming panel from a Canberra aircraft.

I love this weather. It's so sunny and warm. And the place you can see on the picture is utterly beautiful. Hopefully I can visit it again soon! Oh, and I cut my hair how you can see.
Btw, I read Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and also saw the movie yesterday. Both are utterly amazing.
And a big 'THANK YOU!' to the gorgeous Miriam for her testimonial ♥

The picture was took two days ago in Douma near Damascus for a child who was survived among the destruction. The Assad regime bombed an area where is a lot of civilians and more than 30 martyrs have killed and 100 civilians have injured.
It's the daily style of life in these areas. The regime is still killing the people and the world ignore these oppressed people who ask for help since 4 years and that's why the situation got complicated and ISIS comes to the country.

We were positioned in a field outside Berlin when the sirens started to wail. The bombers were coming more and more frequently. We've barely been resupplied from the last time. It's no longer a question of if American tanks will roll over our position, but when? Out of our original 9 man crew, only 3 of us remained. Steffen had our remaining mp40, I manned the cannon and Andreas was wounded in the last attack. The only thing he'd be good for a the moment is taking potshots at the enemy, but if they get that close it's over for us anyway. The Third Reich is dead, it's just too stubborn to roll over.
This is the Acme Happy Bomb educational display just off the formal sales floor, just to the right. Here you can see the immature bombs frozen in a benign phase of their development.
Atmospheric river
Indoor pics are not my favorite, but better than dealing with the atmospheric river outside!
What does one wear to burlesque during a bomb cyclone? Leather and pleather is a good option! My hat and coat were soaked waiting in line to enter the venue, but I stayed dry enough underneath.

The Radcliffe camera in Oxford bedecked with yarn bombs !
Spotted on a walk in Oxford yesterday ! I have been lucky to have walked around the top of the camera, when I worked in the Bod...some great views of the Bodleian and high street, shame I did not have a camera at the time... :0)
The Radcliffe Camera, a large circular building with a lofty dome, was built by James Gibbs between 1737 and 1749 with money bequeathed by John Radcliffe (1650-1714), the famous physician, and was designed to house a library endowed by Radcliffe. In 1860 the Trustees of Dr Radcliffe's will transferred all works on natural sciences to premises in the University Museum, where they formed the nucleus of what is now the Radcliffe Science Library, in South Parks Road.
The Camera itself was first lent to the Bodleian Curators and later, in 1927, the Trustees presented the freehold to the University. The exterior stonework has been cleaned and partly refaced at the expense of the Historic Buildings Appeal.
The Camera now contains two reading rooms, mainly used by undergraduates. Beneath the lawn to the north is an underground book-store, built in 1912, connected with the Camera, and, by a subway, with the Old Library.
