A gorgeous fiery sunrise this morning at about 6am. Here's hoping the rain comes to wet the soil after a couple of lovely sunny & breezy days. This is pretty much SOC ( straight out of camera). A beautiful view. I'm not yet game enough to take the tripod down to the wetlands for the lake view but perhaps next week if there is further lifting of restrictions.

This is definitely my favourite spot on the Isle of Skye, but my word was it windy! Took three evenings to finally get this image, but in the end I was happy. I always wanted a long exposure shot from here.

First trip out with the new camera, treated myself to a new d750. Down to Boscombe to start the day.Looked like there was going to be a colourful sunrise, but it all faded away to a drab grey morning.
One even earlier exposure added to last week's 3 exposure slide. Although the full moon was clouded out the transition from sunset into night was still very beautiful to watch. From a very fun evening out with the PDXNightowls. NB42809,832,890,914 - Happy Sliders Sunday!
IJssellaan during blue hour. It was cold and freezing weather offering ideal conditions for a blue hour. A perfect location as well for my personal Helix project in which I try to capture during blue hour this colorful renovated tower.

This amazing location sited on a cliff off the coastal town of Lisbon, close to Sintra. For a reason Azenhas do Mar is well recognised among the most cherished and sensational beaches in Europe.....
The first stop of the last trip, I was supposed to be there in October, but because of my injury, I had to postpone the ticket, I had to go there as I was stuck with the flight itinerary, it's a beautiful city even more so in winter, but avoid the beef at the chinese-indian restaurant just below the castle, every morsel lasts longer than chewing gum.
At the end of the sixties the industry imploded on the north bank. The south bank turned into a nature reserve with protected flora and fauna.
At dusk - in the blue hour - this part of the world goes abstract.

In these phantasmagorical landscapes of Lapland, frozen in winter, my imagination wanders faster than my footsteps that sink into the snow, and like the trees I humbly bow to the conditions.
Dans ces paysages fantasmagoriques de la Laponie, figés dans l'hiver, mon imagination se promène plus vite que mes pas qui s'enfoncent dans la neige, et comme les arbres je me plie humblement aux conditions.
Das Schweriner Schloss steht auf einer kleinen Insel zwischen dem Burgsee (im Vordergrund) und dem Schweriner See.
Die Schlossinsel ist durch zwei Brücken mit dem Festland verbunden. Eine gemauerte Bogenbrücke (links) führt auf Schwerins repräsentativsten Platz, den Alten Garten, und eine eiserne Drehbrücke (rechts) führt in den Schlossgarten.
