Through my kitchen window I saw a coyote walking in the yard; his rear leg was injured, and was only walking on 3 of his legs.

And YES, this part of Vancouver Island is attractive indeed: Staying at Lone Cone Hostel & Campground, you are able to dig into a fascinating First Nation story too.
