In 2013 I quit my job and took a year off to travel South East Asia. Slowly and thoroughly, taking ground transport as much as possible, off the beaten track and traveling as the locals do, I visited 9 countries: From the Northern Highlands of Thailand, to the 7107 islands of the Philippines to magic Myanmar. Along the way I met great people, made new friends, discovered awesome places and experienced a whole lot of adventure. Check my travel and photography blog at escapology.eu for the stories and more pictures. Cheers, Philipp

Page one: "evil unmasked". Page five: "now everyone knows what they look like the taxpayer will foot the bill in protecting their new identities". As a taxpayer whose money would not have been wasted quite so much had the media run the front-page story, can I sue the media for damages? :-(
Part 1 of a day trip to a couple of areas bordering Georgia and South Carolina. On the first stop of the field trip, we visited a site for a yet undescribed Trillium species. We also were lucky enough to find a number of other interesting wildflowers in full bloom.
