We have been learning about blogging and how blogs work. To understand how blogs work, we made paper blogs. Students wrote their first blog post on paper. They glued their post to a poster and decorated it to make it look like a blog. Then we hung them around the room. Armed with pencils and sticky notes we all moved around the room reading each other's blogs and writing comments on the sticky notes. We stuck the sticky notes to the blogs. This idea comes from Karen McMillan. You can read about it at: www.notesfrommcteach.com/2010/09/learning-to-blog-using-p...
I decided to use the iPAD more and more as a cookbook ;-) This weekend it will be the cookie book as I decided to start with the x-mas cookies.
Big media are trying... but they don't quite get it.

I'm done fighting with you, you know where I stand - figure yourself out. I can't do it anymore.
& I really miss you, and I wish we could sort this all out. Give me the light of day, please ?

Jeg steker bl.a. over 2 kg kyllingfilet. Mmm.

Day 21 : Trends
Not only did I scrap about a current trend, but I tried to use a few as well: twine, border punches, tiny attachers. And I used my Silhouette [and considering I've had it almost a year and am just now starting to use it...that's huge!]
This is the digitally stitched version but you can see the individual pages in my gallery. And similarly to the past few days, I hate when one page is dimensional and doesn't scan the same color as the first. I promise the words line up and are the same color.
Journaling reads:
"It’s a trend that’s been around
for awhile now. I jumped on the
band-wagon back in 2009.
I blog.
Not nearly as often as I’d like,
but more this year than ever before.
I track my day to day life.
Working at Archiver’s.
My creative projects and ideas.
My Flickr Gallery.
[The mundane crap that nobody
besides my dad wants to read.]
I’ve made it interactive with links
to cool stuff I’ve found or things
I think people might like.
In the long run, it’s for me.
So I can look back & remember.
For now, it’s just my random chaos life."
