As we travelled from Galilee to Jericho, we made a stop to wade in the Jordan River. This spot is significant in Christianity and Judaism. It is believed this is the place where the Isrealites crossed the River Jordan into the Promised Land. It is also the place where it is believe that the Prophet Elijah was taken up into heaven in a chariot of fire. Finally, this is also the place where it is believed that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.

Many of my companions purchased various sacramentals while in Israel (including many olive wood rosaries). In this shot we hold some of those items as the priest who accompanied us took water from the Jordan, blessed it, and then used the water to bless the sacramentals.

The faery clans and the mortal realms of Celtic Cornwall gathered for three fairytastic days, famous artists, performers, and visitors had travelled from around the world to be side-by-side in harmony celebrating the magical time of Midsummer Solstice. This is the time the fairy ring is open a gateway into the realms of fae, an opportunity to glimpse into fairyland, and to experience the reality of folkore how the "little people" celebrate their love of the sacred land, close by ancient stone circles, tors, babbling springs and wells, and the criss cross Leylines of ancient Albion, for they are the guardians and carers of our earth - We welcomed those who came in peace and love, and may the blessings of the faeries lighten your earthly journey with love, health, abundance, joy and infinite wishes!"

This is how I see my life full of little blessings. :)

The word Goa forms a collage of memories in one's mind - shacks where time stops, gentle rolling waves of the ocean, brilliant sunsets that seem to get better every day, architecture that makes one drool and seafood that gives you pleasant dreams months later.

The sun played with the clouds to provide a wonderful backdrop. A patient wait for a subject yielded in this photograph, which seems like a message from the heavens above and begs the question - are angels outsourcing their jobs?

Blessing Batubo lived with her seven children and her husband in a three-bedroom rented house in Njemanze for 12 years. She was at the market when the demolition started. When she returned home, she found her children standing outside the house. She was unable to save anything. Blessing used to sell soft drinks and beer in Njemanze, but her fridges and stock were destroyed in the demolition. The family is now living at the church. Blessing does not know where her husband is; he left shortly after the demolition. Her husband’s brothers and sisters have been helping her care for the children.

It was such a joy to be in the Ekenäs church at the end of May. Mats Backholm was the guest preacher and he really enabled me to meet with God.

What was great too was that it was at a meeting where he was the speaker in the same church 18 months ago, that dear Katja was saved. She's being blessed here as a thanks for the 9 months she's worked in the church as part of the 1förGud progamme - and trust me, not only is she a great woman of God, but she's also a good friend of both me and DD - and many others.

In the shadows of the Uppsala catherdral (Domkyrka) lies the Helga Trefaldighets (Holy Trinity) kyrka. We happened upon it when seeking shelter from the rain. This is a gem often overlooked. What a plesant surprise to find a host of angels painted on the ceiling to watch over us during the storm.
