Another deceptive photo in terms of our topic: Biometrics - could be age. Judging by my senior picture and collection of toys and stuffed animals, you might think I am a much younger person that what I actually am. The truth, however, is I'm currently visiting my Grandparents, who has kept my room as is. The plush and toys collected are due to my love of animation and voice acting - a career I am currently pursuing. I took this picture because of how deceptive our backgrounds can be, and how that can cause inaccuracies in data. All I did for this picture was pose in front of my camera with no filters.

in regard to biometrics, this photo would easily be identified using facial recognition software, especially with my hair pulled away from my face. with the right amount of magnification, perhaps iris patterns could be detected. in addition, this photo reveals a great deal about my home life and the environment I live in. (NOT the barn! lol)
IPSOS is using biometric belts that have been strapped onto consumers' chests in order to understand human reactions in their truest form. More simply, they are measuring the response to stimuli through the nervous system.
Biometrics is a branch of neuroscience that takes the measurement of emotions to a whole new level. It allows marketers to understand the additional dimensions of unconscious consumer responses in their day-to-day decision making, ultimately leading to stronger end results and a greater understanding of how brands and advertising are connecting with people in their everyday lives.

This is a picture of myself. From this picture, someone might be able to capture my iris pattern. Iris patterns can be used to identify who you are. Things like this can help identify me if I were to go missing, was in a criminal case, or for simple reasons such as which makeup goes best with your eyes.
