On Thursday, August 4, Railinc employees covered by the company’s health insurance participated in an on-site biometric screening that measured indicators including cholesterol and BMI. Nurses and other health care professionals from WakeMed performed tests and measurements and provided counseling.

IPSOS is using biometric belts that have been strapped onto consumers' chests in order to understand human reactions in their truest form. More simply, they are measuring the response to stimuli through the nervous system.
