We forgot to pack a wet bag when we went to the pediatrician this morning and ended up with a wet diaper. She gave us this to put it in. Too perfect.
I found this in a bin at the Goodwill Outlet Center on McNeil. I almost bought it, but my hand was all pussy & swollen after touching it and it hurt to reach into my pocket for money.
Alexandra Pond on Wanstead Flats. Suspected deliberate poisoning. Many Canada and greylag geese, coots, many pigeons and several crows have been found dead this week. Normally there are around 100 Canadas and a growing number of greylags here. The ducks and other water birds are OK so far. Apparently a dog died too, after being walked here on Monday.
It makes me angry and sad that anyone could be so wicked.

Washington DC, October 12, 2013. Washington Metropolitan Police Officers guarding the entrance to Monsanto's offices. Social justice activists staged a small but spirited rally on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House and then marched to Monsanto's Washington offices just off K Street. One of the speakers at the rally thanked the "two hundred" attendees but I counted only seventy five. The march did succeed in starting quite a few conversations among onlookers along the route about the safety of our food and Monsanto's role in it.

The U.S. and Laos are working together to protect the health of the Lao people. U.S. Ambassador Haymond handed over personal protective equipment to Vice Minister of Health Phouthone Muoangpak at a ceremony in Vientiane today as part of the United States’ early assistance to Lao PDR to prepare for any potential spread of the novel coronavirus.
“Today’s handover of medical supplies highlights the meaning of the U.S.-Lao Comprehensive Partnership,” said Ambassador Haymond. “These critical supplies will help support medical professionals and health workers as Laos strives to prevent the spread of new infectious diseases, including the novel coronavirus. We are proud to support Lao health workers and at-risk populations in this effort,” he said. The equipment, donated by the United States through USAID - US Agency for International Development, includes 440 protective goggles, 1,500 surgical gowns, and 220 face shields, along with biohazard disposal bags, aprons, N95 face masks, safety boxes, gloves, and hand sanitizer supplies. This equipment will be distributed to regional centers and provinces in greatest need of the supplies.

This rare collector's item sold in Japan in 2006 mimmicks the unique jacket seen in biohazard 4/Resident Evil 4 and warn by special agent Leon S. Kennedy in Chapter 1-1 of the game. Shortly after, the jacket disappeared, presumably stolen by those insane Ganados.
