Photomanipulation I did as a special request for my good flickr friend Erik aka What?? You wanted something clever?? Click here to see the sexy original. He asked if I would do a mod of him...and thought a biohazard symbol over his face would look "badass". I actually did not intend to upload this image to flickr, especially since the special biohazard sign I found appears to be someone's unsigned artwork...When I did a search, and found this symbol, I found no name or copyright, but if I am ever asked, I will take it down. I decided to upload this afterall because, not only did I put quite a bit of time into it, I was also quite happy with the way it turned out...and feel it does indeed look "badass"...but I think "freakin' cool" will also suffice! To all the ladies out there that happen across this piece, please go to Erik's page and see his "fugliness" set and tell him that he is anything but fugly...If I tell him he is hot, or sexy, I am but a mere one person and he won't believe me! emergency rooms aren't very photogenic, as it turns out... there's always trash lying around somewhere.

This may be my next to last Flickr posting for awhile. You'll notice how it WILL get totally altered by Flickr's awful black background. Why should I or anyone else have to put up with the headache of modfiying our images every time we post so others will view them in the way we intend? I've sometimes used frames in the past for one effect or another but having to put any kind of white frame around my creations so as the edges of any image that have darkness or black in them don't get lost is time consuming and unacceptable!! This is also a post for those wonderful folks at Tomshardware.com. I'm not altogether happy with some of their avatar restrictions but some admin on that site at least is understanding enough to examine this for the potential flaws I've mentioned with regards to reducing this to a 100 X 100 pixel image.
Security was on hand to stop us gaining access to the entrance!

Any proper laboratory with morally questionable experiments requires a proper guard. In the case of Dr. Remi Laborde, he finds his fellow vampires to be often rather... Lacking in either the stomach, stiff lips, nor proper lack of sanity to handle the job.
So, instead, Remi has taken to using a number of biological creations to keep anyone who might wander through his haslls be if maliciously or accidentally.
The intent is to namely scare them off, but if they wish to play hero then it is brilliant data for any creatures they come across.

VisTec's new Light Autocannon or "LAC" project fires high-explosive, armour-piercing .338 Lapua rounds. Therefore the only existing prototype is called "Biohazard" - because where this beast hits, nothing will ever grow there again.
The "Biohazard" features
- an experimental Carl Zeiss Jena scope / targeting computer with added red dot sight.
- an internally damped buttstock (without this damping system, the weapon would be even more uncomfortable to fire, especially on Full Auto)
- an externally damped bipod, as already featured in the CompaX-Series.
- an actively / passively cooled firing mechanism. The actively working system cools the barrel with nitrogen, the passively working system consists of special vents. Soldiers and employees testing the prototype are strictly ordered to wear gloves!
- a heavy duty barrel. Firing the weapon on Full Auto generates extreme heat. To keep the durability of the weapon the barrel is coated with a secret alloy.
What to do, what to do? Winter is so boring!
