Binter Canarias, ATR72 on a training excercise demonstrating how to do a low fly-past in the event of an undercarriage failure. The subsequent fly-past almost ended in disaster as the aircraft tilted right to expose its under-belly to ground staff at the same time as being caught by a gust of wind at very low level. The subsequent struggle to level-off and climb-out was fairly dramatic.

First flown with the Embraer test registration PR-EHD, this aircraft was delivered to Binter Canarias as EC-NFA in Dec-19. Current, updated 19-Jul-22.
Delivered new to Binter Canaria as EC-EMK in Dec88. WFU by Apr96. To Luft Meister in South Africa as ZS-OGE by 11Oct98. To Safair 10Nov03 and noted parked up at JNB 13Feb04 in Air Namibia colours. Noted stored with no engines at JNB 09Mar06. Reregistered to N982BW on 07Jul06 last noted still stored at JNB in poor condition Jan08. Reg cancelled 31Oct13 and scrapped.
