I actually made a Bingo! So did four other people, but that left us with enough winnings to cover our cards for the night and buy an ice cream on the way out.

De allí que hay que educar al pueblo para que no permita que falsos liderazgos y jugadores de bingo lo lleven hasta las puertas del sepulcro.

Most Fridays my Dad calls bingo for the residents of the care center where Mom lived out the last couple years of her life. It's been several years, but he faithfully visits and cheers those who need it. Since my wife and I were visiting, we helped out on New Year's Day.

Monceau finally talked me into joining Flickr Bingo 3.
How I finally managed to read the rules and create a bingo card is just beyond me. LOL
Persona Series / Farringdon, London / Number 554
I've been a die-hard Mr. Bingo fan for almost two decades. Recently, I had the chance to visit the master of pens at his London studio. We had a delightful chinwag, and he even participated in my long running Persona series. I highly recommend checking out his shop. Everything is potentially FOR SALE and NOT FOR SALE.
Persona features portraits of people and the things they carry. I started the series in the winter of 2007, and have since photographed more than 550 individuals from all walks of life. The items don’t make the person, of course—they’re manifestations of the self.
I my quest to find the ultimate Montreal Dépanneur here's one along Notre-Dame ouest that might be a contendor.. looks like an old low rent building that's been reconfigured into a corner store.. promotes wine, beer and loto tickets.. Coca Cola adds all over the place, a Loto Quebec sign outside, Montreal orange cones resting up against it (bonus points!), the obigatory ice cream drumstick ads on the railing, and an ad for beer on sale.. and hey who can't get with "Depanneur Bingo".. anyways, I'll keep hunting but I like how kitchy this one is.

Bingo died yesterday aged 15 1/2 bless him. I love you. This is an old photo taken when Bingo was very young but it's a good one :-) It reminds me that he was once so full of energy and fun.

During my visit in the village of Flateyri the local women's club held a Bingo tournament. There were about fifty attendees and ten impressive prizes. I did not land a prize though, despite my Bingo card's special inscription on the flip side "THIS IS A LUCKY CARD!!".
-Judging by the dates scribbled on some of those cards, they appear to have been in use since at least 1970's.
