He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy,
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity's sunrise

"wholly and dearly"
escapes from your lips,
eight girls and two kids
and days of a wandering heart
glued to the chaos my fingertips brush
like hips against table edges
and bruised ribs that didn't make it downstairs.
I have found a thousand corners
filled with the history of Your presence.
A breath of You is my home.
The Yellow Jackets are so busy swooning over the Sasanqua blooms they pay no mind to me. Thanks for the visit and have a great evening.
For the Macro Mondays group them for the week of 3 September 2012: "Ring".
Happy Macro Monday, everyone!

"So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." ~ Matthew 19:6, TNIV
BIND US TOGETHER
words by Bob Gillman
Bind us together, Lord, Bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken.
Bind us together, Lord,
Bind us together,
Bind us together with love.
There is only one God,
There is only one King;
There is only one Body,
That is why we sing:
Made for the glory of God,
Purchased by His precious Son;
Born with the right to be clean,
For Jesus the victory has won.
You are the family of God,
You are the promise divine;
You are God’s chosen desire,
You are the glorious new wine.

Thanks to JHames, Ruben Hamahiga dela Cruz and August Bantayan for sharing me tips in creating a macro shot by reversing lenses.
This is a macro shot of a thread spindle. Thread's size is about half of a millimeter. Captured using 17-40mm and shoot through a reversed 50mm. I don't want to risk my camera's sensor exposed so i didn't remove the zoom lens.

This is yesterday's. I am shooting today's soon.
Sheet Series
This is mildly inspired by a Ying and Yang symbol. I wanted to show two fairly different woman in a sensual way without being sexual. The rope binding them together represents a bond of friendship that is steadfast and strong. The outfits allow for a closer intimacy than street clothes and give a sensual feel. Overall, I really love this photo. I used four textures from the user Les Brumes.
