An old photo of me somewhere in my gallery. I have learned some photoshop since I uploaded it so I thought to give it a quick revive :) I'm much happier now.
This is why I like using the Lensbaby 2.0... it brings a bit more drama to an otherwise ordinary shot.
Rendered in black and white and kept all the noise intact.
Build update on the Narcissus Shuttle - ALIEN 79 - 1:18 scale. Worked on the remaining frame work for the wall panels. Finished both yesterday and began adding detailing....which is going to take some time. Using a mix of styrene, Epoxy and various misc items (greeblies) to build out the details. I've decided to begin building back into the shuttles main entrance first before moving into the pilot stations...for the exception of the wall panel with all the piping rolling around. I really want to do that wall! HA! So the storage compartments will be separate sections and the airlock will be a separate section..the only way I can build this will be to keep it modular. #alien #narcissus #shuttle #diorama #stowaway #bigchap #luckystar #scratchbuilding #modelbuilding

The Beast - ALIEN 1979 - 1:18 scale. Completed my three aliens...why three? I don't know. I worked so hard on this guy to make only one would be criminal. The figure in the center is fully articulated using ball joints from existing store bought figures and Revoltech. The other two are articulated using wire and ball joint work. Very stable. All the heads are interchangeable. Time to paint these guys up....along with the additional head sculpts I have created. #alien #nostromo #bigchap #sith_fire30 #threeisthemagicnumber

Paint progress on "The Beast" - ALIEN 79 - 1:18 scale. My first "primed" body and second "primed" head sculpt of the beast - "Snarling" version. Primed, meaning I have painted the pieces with about three coats of gray acrylic. Have three other head sculpts to paint along with two more bodies. Additional images of the "The Beast" - ALIEN 1979 - 1:18 scale. Castings of the open mouth "strike" version head sculpt. Teeth came out without any air bubbles thanks to the styrene spures! A couple new Big Chap (ALIEN 79 - 1:18 scale) head sculpts getting a mold bath today - Was delayed on finishing them for the past several weeks. The "grin" version was adjusted bringing the skull down a bit to make the look more menacing (looks great with the clear canopy). The open mouth version will have the "tongue" in both a strike and retracted position, both being held by a magnet in the back of the creatures throat. #alien #bigchap #nostromo #sith_fire30
