Translating the verse as "Lord's anointed" is actually an interpretation- the literal meaning is Messiah (in Hebrew Mashiach - משיח).

This week my 52 Week Book Challenge was Street Photography . An early one from the book ( only No.4 ) and it is street photography - well out of my comfort zone and not something I tackle as a rule . Well I went into Leatherhead town centre last Sunday afternoon and once I had strolled up from the car park I could hear music and singing !! Just two shots , one a side view and this one - I was conscious of taking the shot but I think he was too wrapped up in his tune . If you look at the shot large you can see his tee-shirt logo and with the little cylindrical stone beside him there are leaflets to be seen .
Well for a novice I think this will do for my street shot .
The hill of Mars or Ares, better known by the name of Areopagus, of which hill of Mars or Ares is a translation. The Areopagus was a rocky height in Athens, opposite the western end of the Acropolis. It rises gradually from the northern end, and terminates abruptly on the south, over against the Acropolis, at which point it is about fifty or sixty feet above the valley. The spot is memorable as the place of meeting of the Council of Areopagus. This body existed as a criminal tribunal before the time of Solon, and was the most ancient and venerable of all the Athenian courts. It consisted of all persons who had held the office of archon, and who were members of the council for life unless expelled for misconduct. Before the time of Solon the court tried only cases of willful murder, wounding, poison, and arson: but he gave it extensive powers of a censorial and political nature. The Areopagus possesses peculiar interest to the Christian as the spot from which St. Paul delivered his memorable address to the men of Athens.

Alright, so Holden (HMD) and I decided to do some Bible figures, because we thought it would be a fun thing to do. He made Rack, Shack, and Benny- uh I mean Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednigo, and I made Samson, John the Baptist, and a Pharoah figure.

After a book with a face on the cover (called Biography), I designed a book with a Maltese Cross on the cover (aptly called Bible). This model’s design is based on my Long Story Short book model. Note that all the pleats radiating from the tessellation molecule are hidden,
so both the back cover and the pages are free of any unnecessary creases.

I found this Bible here and it gave the place a friendly peace. Maybe it should also prevent evil spirits to visit this place.
At any rate, I have not changed anything in this place. Only the title of the book freed from the patina and ... photographed
I believe this building dates back to the 1920’s, and was originally home to Vallejo’s First Presbyterian Church. When that congregation moved to a larger building in 1952 it was purchased by the Vallejo Bible Church.

Bible Rock (Batalegala in the Sinhala language) is a mountain near the town of Aranayake in Kegalle District in central Sri Lanka. It derives its name "Bible rock" from its resemblance to a book on a lectern.
Bible Rock Trail is considered a hard hike that covers 4.7 mi, with an elevation gain of 1,952 ft. It takes about 3.5–4 hr to complete. Hard trails usually cover longer distances, and may have long or steep climbs or more difficult obstacles.is rock can be seen when passing the Kadugannawa pass.
